Richard Earl "Bub" Turbeville Sr.
(April 17, 1942 - January 3, 2020)

Richard Earl "Bub" Turbeville Sr. of Vaiden passed away at his home on Friday, January 3, 2020.  A visitation will be
held on Saturday, January 11, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., in the Lee Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a
memorial service in the chapel.  Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery near Vaiden.

Mr. Turbeville, 77, was born in Vaiden on April 17, 1942, and was the son of the late Richard A. "Bill" and Mary
Frances "Nan" Ralston Turbeville.  He was a farmer and a member of Vaiden Methodist Church in Vaiden.  In addition
to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Buford and Mary Ann Huggins; and a brother,
Robert "Toad" Turbeville.

Mr. Turbeville is survived by his wife, Lesie Scarberry Turbeville; his son, Richard "Richie" Turbeville, Jr. (Leslie); two
sisters, Sandra "Kay" Blackard and Betty Partridge (Sonny); two brothers, Tommy Turbeville and Bobby Turbeville
(Tracie); two grandchildren, Brian Austin Turbeville (Ashley) and Ashleigh Howell; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
