Harold W. Denley
(September 1, 1933 - May 7, 2018)

Funeral services for Mr. Harold W. Denley, 84, of Carrollton will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, in the Lee Funeral Home
Chapel, with visitation beginning at noon.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.  Rev. Lanny Haley and Rev. Joseph
Sansing will officiate the services.  Pallbearers will be Ronald Denley, David Denley, Gerald Denley, James Cain, Michael Shelton, and
Jimmy McBride.

Mr. Denley, 84, died at his residence on Monday, May 7.  He was born in Leflore County on September 1, 1933, to Hosea Watson and
Sarah Maggie Koonce Denley.  He was a carpenter, loved to hunt, and was devoted to his family.   He was very active and especially
enjoyed anything involving his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He attended New Bethel Baptist Church near Carrollton.  Mr.
Denley was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter and son-in-law, Janet Marie and Thomas Carl Hopkins; three sisters; and six

Mr. Denley is survived by his wife of 58 years, Augusta Denley; two brothers, G. L. Denley and Billy Walker; two grandsons, Ryan Thomas
Hopkins (Lori) and Eric Denley Hopkins (Tonya); five great-grandchildren, Carleigh Hopkins, Hayden Hopkins, Cadence Hopkins, Ryleigh
Kate Hopkins, and Joey Hopkins; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Bethel Baptist Church, 579 CR 121, Carrollton, MS  38917.
