Carolyn Fondren Mitchell
(August 11, 1940 - June 28, 2018)

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Fondren Mitchell of Gore Springs, and formerly of Stewart and Winona, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on
Monday, July 2, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Winona Garden of Memory.  Visitation will be Sunday,
July 1, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mitchell, 77, died at her home on Thursday, June 28.  She was born in Oklahoma on August 11, 1940, and was the daughter of the
late Charlie and Dorothy Durkee Fondren.  She was a retired bookkeeper and a tremendous supporter of our military service men and

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband of 52 years, Don Mitchell of Gore Springs; son, Jeffrey A. Mitchell (Tami) of Gore Springs;
sisters, Margaret Moore of Winona and Jean Kilgore of Stewart; brother, Charles Fondren of Stewart; and a host of nieces and
