Grace P. Ivy
October 17, 1940 - March 19, 2017

Funeral services for Mrs. Grace P. Ivy of Vaiden will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev.
Bobby Palmertree officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 23, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ivy, 76, died at her residence in Vaiden on Sunday, March 19.  She was born in Brownsville, Kentucky, on October 17, 1940, to
Roscoe and Pauline Duvall Blanton.  She was a retired waitress, having worked at 35-55 Truckstop in Vaiden for 19 years.  She loved
to crochet and was a most giving, loving, and caring person, whom everyone called "Mom."  She was preceded in death by a son, Don
"Billy" Denton; her parents; and a brother, Junior Blanton.

Mrs. Ivy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Lamar Ivy of Vaiden; daughters, Treasa Welborn, Mary Jo Upchurch, and Karla Kay
Beaird; sons, Bobby Ivy Jr. and James Taylor; sisters, Frankie Saltzman and Judy Blanton; brothers, Gary Blanton, Dewane Blanton,
Ricky Blanton, and Pat Blanton; five grandchildren, Melissa Wyatt, Kristie Llyod, Rhyan Ferguson, Katie Sanders, and Kristen Denton;
nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Paul Dance, Trae Dance, Brent Woods, Kris King, Joey Welch, and Holden Singletary.  Honorary pallbearer will be
Kenny Ferguson.
