Daphine Britt Blackwell
(December 17, 1941 - June 6, 2019)

Funeral services for Ms. Daphine Britt Blackwell of Southaven will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, in the Oliver Funeral Home
Chapel, with Rev. James Lewis and Rev. Albert Britt officiating.  Visitation will be Monday, from 1:00 p.m. until service time, at the funeral
home.

Ms. Blackwell died at Methodist Hospice in Hernando on Thursday, June 6.  She was born in Grenada County on December 17, 1941, to
Dorsey E. and Loucille Ware Britt.  She was a retired payroll administration employee of Mississippi Department of Corrections and a
member of Desoto Hills Baptist Church in Southaven.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her daughter, Brooke Blackwell Ott (Jeffrey) of Hernando; stepdaughter, Donna Pearson (Greg) of Winona; stepson,
Richard Blackwell of Winona; three granddaughters, Hannah, Emily, and Olivia Ott of Hernando; and a host of step-grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Daphines entire family. She was always such loyal friend to my mother, Virginia
Ransom. We spent many days and evenings visiting with her in Sallisaw when she came to visit. She was a
wonderful, loving and caring woman who will be greatly missed.
