Funeral services for Arlene Mims of Grenada will be at 2:00 pm. on Friday, June 14, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial
following in French Camp Cemetery in French Camp. Rev. Chris Owensby will officiate the services. Visitation will be Friday, from
noon until service time, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lee Peacock, Tyler Lamkin, Wade Swindol, Brian Clark, Bo Peacock, and Steven Clark. Honorary pallbearers will
be Tony Peacock and Drew Peacock.
Ms. Mims, 76, died at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson on Monday, June 10. She was born on October 28, 1942, in
Crossett, Arkansas. She was a retired seamstress for B&L Manufacturing, a homemaker, and a member of Cornerstone Faith
Fellowship in Winona. She enjoyed shopping at Dollar Tree, making crafts for her family, and just generally spending time with her
family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlon Willis and Mavis Mims; sister, Barbara Ann Swearingen; and brothers, Bobby
Willis and Lane Willis.
Survivors include four daughters, Melinda Langford of Nashville, Tennessee, Shelia Peacock of French Camp, Lorraine Dubard of
Grenada, and Terry Smith of Kosciusko; fourteen grandchildren, Chancis Marascalco, Brenna Dubard, Ashley Smith, Christopher
Smith, Jan Peacock, Bo Peacock, Drew Peacock, Tony Peacock, Lee Peacock, Steven Clark, Brian Clark, Sarah Lamkin, Wade
Swindol, and Taylor James; and many nieces and nephews.
