Jerry Lamar Mitchell
(August 11, 1948 - September 26, 2018)

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lamar Mitchell of Foley, Alabama, formerly of Winona, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, at
New Hope United Methodist Church in Winona, with burial following in the church cemetery.  Rev. John Lumbley, assisted by Rev. Sam
Dodd, will officiate the services.

Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time, at the church.

Mr. Mitchell, 70, died at his residence on Wednesday, September 26.  He was born in Winona on August 11, 1948, and was a retired
supervisor for Mississippi Valley Gas Company.  Mr. Mitchell was a 1968 graduate of Winona High School and a 1970 graduate of
Holmes Junior College.  He was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post #99 in Foley, Alabama and a volunteer for South
Baldwin Medical Center in Foley.  He was a member of Summerdale Church of Christ in Summerdale, Alabama.  Mr. Mitchell was
preceded in death by his father, T. L. Mitchell; and his sister, Brenda K. Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Rhonda P. Mitchell of Foley, Alabama; daughter, Terri Jewitt of Fairhope, Alabama; his mother, Mareece
Johnson of Winona; sister, Patsy Cade (Bill) of Winona; brothers, Phil Johnson and Kenny Johnson, both of Winona; his grandchildren,
Laken and Chase Stallworth; and his son-in-law, Ken Stallworth of Fairhope, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Phil Johnson, Ken Stallworth, Chase Stallworth, Johnnie King, John Cummings, and Bobby Joe Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to New Hope Cemetery Fund, 504 Jones Street, Winona, MS
