Bruce Gentry
(June 11, 1945 - March 4, 2019)

A funeral service for Mr. Bruce Gentry of Winona will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, in the Oliver
Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Tony Franks officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday,
beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Gentry, 73, died at his home on Monday, March 4.  He was born in Webster County on June 11, 1945, to
Edgar B. and Mary Cooke Gentry.  He was a retired HVAC engineer and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War,
where he was awarded a Purple Heart and the Army Commendation Medal with a V Device.  He was preceded in
death by his parents.

Mr. Gentry is survived by his wife, Anne W. Gentry of Winona; two sons, Lee Gentry of Jackson and Allen Gentry
(Brooke) of Jackson; two sisters, Connie Paeglow of Denver, Colorado, and Amy Gentry of Memphis, Tennessee;
two brothers, Terry Gentry of Memphis, Tennessee, and Lynn Gentry of Denver, Colorado; and three
grandchildren, Reed Gentry, Tyler Ballard, and Jeremy Ballard.

So very sorry to Anne, Allen and all of the Gentry family and friends who are grieving the loss of this great man. My

Prayers for the family. Had lots of good times when the family lived at Alva. I ran into Bruce at a restaurant in the
late70's in Pearl, ms. while working there . He was in the ac business. May God bless and comfort all of the family in
this loss.
