Gregory R.C. Rainey

Funeral services for Gregory R.C. Rainey of Duck Hill will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, in the Oliver Funeral Home
Chapel, with burial following in the Rainey Family Cemetery in Duck Hill.  Rev. Tim Buchanan will officiate the services.  Pallbearers
will be Jerry Lucius, Archie Flowers, Alvin Brown, and Irby Bailey Jr.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 24, from 4:00 unitil 8:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mr. Rainey, 58, died at his son's home in Duck Hill on Wednesday, November 21.  He was born in Ripley, Mississippi, on September
21, 1960, to R.C. and Betty Pannell Rainey.  He was a self-employed mail contractor with the U.S. Postal Service.  Mr. Rainey was a
U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Eskridge Baptist Church near Duck Hill.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two
grandchildren, Bentley Rainey and Aubrey Rainey.

Mr. Rainey is survived by his daughter, Krystina Chu (Aaron) of Van Cleave; two sons, Matthew Rainey (Vanessa) of Duck Hill and
Andrew Rainey (Michelle) of Duck Hill; three sisters, Deborah Tartt of Grenada, Tammie Taylor of Duck Hill, and Bridget Williams of
Duck Hill; brother, Ronnie Rainey of Duck Hill; four grandchildren, Maddox Rainey, Berkley Chu, McKinley Rainey, and Jordy Chu; and
many nieces and nephews.
