Mitchell F. "Mickey" Rushing
(July 25, 1938 - December 4, 2017)
Mr. Mitchell F. "Mickey" Rushing, 79, of Winona died on Monday, December 4, at Vaiden Community Living Center in Vaiden. Mr.
Rushing was the son of the late P.F. and Maxine Bowen Rushing and the widower of the late Rose Ann Rosamond Rushing. He was
a retired employee of AT&T and a member of the former Stewart Methodist Church. In addition to his wife and parents, he was
preceded in death by his siblings, Ronnie Keith Rushing and Evelyn Rushing Holmes.
Mr. Rushing is survived by his son, Dr. Keith Rushing and wife, Wendy, of Winona; sisters, Sandra Ballard of Eupora and Polly
Childress of Stewart; and his grandchildren, Meredith Rushing Owen and husband, Tyler, of Jackson and Reed Rushing of Winona.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in
Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. T. R. Darsey will officiate the services. Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, from 5:00 until
7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Flowers, Tim Cook, Larry Pearson, Dr. Louie Harrison, John Wayne VanHorn, and Charlie Parkerson.

I am so sorry for your loss, I worked with Mickey a lot of times in Greenwood and other areas. Mickey was a very good
installer and i enjoyed working with him. We talked cars a lot of times about what he had to do to them with the help
of John Lee Van-Horn. I will keep all of you in my prayers.
