Roscoe Wilson Cox
(November 22, 1925 - November 21, 2020)

A graveside service for Mr. Roscoe Wilson Cox of Vaiden will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, at Vaiden
Cemetery in Vaiden. Rev. Philip McRae will officiate the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Marion Jones, Joe Don
Jones, Rick Lehman, Chase Henderson, Ricky Corley, and Jimmy Webb.

Mr. Cox, 94, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Indywood Glen Assisted Living in Greenwood. He was
born in Carroll County on November 22, 1925, to Claude Gaston and Lillian Wilson Cox. He was a retired farmer and
cattleman and was a member of Blackmonton Presbyterian Church near Vaiden. He was a US Army veteran, receiving a
Purple Heart while serving in the 66th Infantry Division during World War II.

Mr. Cox is survived by his caregivers and close friends, Sammy and Linda Henderson, and their children, Chase
Henderson and Erin Novorot. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Lee Brown Cox; his son, Ray Wilson Cox; and
his parents.
