
Betty Ernestine Fowler McCarroll
(February 21, 1940 - December 9, 2020)
Betty was born February 21, 1940. She died at her home on December 9, 2020, at the age of 80. She was
preceded in death by her husband Joe Alexander McCarroll, parents Lena Busby Fowler and Ernest Fowler, and
brother Roy Fowler.
Betty grew up in Kosciusko, Ms where she met the love of her life Joe McCarroll. Joe and Betty were married in
1957. Her passions were gardening, shopping and her family.
Betty is survived by her two daughters Rebecca McCarroll Walsh (husband George) and Deborah McCarroll
Robinson; siblings: Carole Thrasher of Ethel, Troy Fowler of Brandon, Virgie Ray of Meridian Sue Strahan of
Lucedale, Sherry Hughes of Spurger, TX, Jenny Robinette of Kingston, TN, Gerald Fowler of Kosciusko, Wilburn
Fowler of Pearl, and Wayne Fowler of Saucier; five grandchildren, Lee Bates (wife Shelle), Lindsey Bates Barbati
(husband Steven), Blaire Robinson Gray (husband Robert), Megan Robinson Chesterton (husband Richard), and
Kyle Robinson; four great-grandchildren, Penelope, Lola, Margot, and Henry Gray; and a host of nieces and
nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. graveside on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Oakwood Cemetery in Winona.
Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Steven Barbati, Kyle Robinson, George Walsh,
Lee Bates, and Robert Gray.

II was blessed to have had such a sister I will always cherish the times we shared in Brandon when we shopped for flowers and went to all the antique stores we could find.
