Charlton Hooks
(March 18, 1938 - February 13, 2017)

Funeral services for Charlton Hooks of North Carrollton will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, at North Carrollton Baptist Church,
with Rev. Ray Hall officiating.  Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Carroll County.

Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Hooks, 78, died at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona on Monday, February 13.  He was born in Carroll County on March 18,
1938, to Jessie Carroll and Nina Mae Holland Hooks.  He was retired from Lawrence Printing Company in Greenwood.  Mr. Hooks was a U.
S. Navy veteran and an avid Ole Miss fan.  He was a member of North Carrollton Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Gene Hooks and John Hooks, both of North Carrollton; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two
step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.  Mr. Hooks was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosemary Mullen Hooks;
and his daughter, Michelle Hooks.

Pallbearers will be Wilton Neal, Henry Dunn, Tommy Acy, Kyle Hallford, Will Carpenter, and Daniel Hooks.
