  2. He was a wonderful person and preacher; we heard him at Old Union in Carroll County years ago and he preached my mother’s funeral in March 1971. He is in Heaven with so many others who loved the truth and the Good Shepherd.

  4. Bro. Dan was an awesome man and a fine Christian. He baptized several members of my family and preached for us too at Oak Ridge Church of Christ for about 20 years in addition to preaching at the Huntsville church. Always loved his messages from Gods word. Love him and Linnie always!!

  7. So sorry to hear this. I rode Brother Beardain’s school bus during the 1962/63 school year when I was in the 1st grade. The last time I saw him was sometime in the 70’s at the Church of Christ in Kosciusko.

  8. I am just now seeing this.
My family loved Brother and Sister Beardian and their children.
I was baptized into Christ by Brother Beardian. They spent a lot of Sundays at our farm after Church.
I’m the daughter of Rufus and Opal Prewitt. Brother Beardian married my husband and I and also my little sister (Shirley) and her husband Steve Nelson. He also officiated my father’s and mother’s funeral and my 2 older brothers.
The entire family was our family. Not by blood but by love.
My sincere condolences to Sister Beardian, Cynthia, Roger and David.
Brother Dan was an down to earth man of God that served Him faithfully.
    Until we all meet again!
