Funeral services for Carolyn Faye Box, of Winona, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Scotland Baptist Church Cemetery in Winona. Officiating the services will be Rev. Reidis Nash, assisted by Mr. Kirby Dees. Pallbearers will be Mike Woods, Danny Woods, Terry Woods, Shawn Browning, Eric Yeatman, and Ramie Carroll. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Browning, Colon Woods, Terry Dees, Bobby Mims, Cole Pratt, and Michael Brooks.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 2, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Carolyn Faye Box, 83, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona. She was born to Tommie and Mary Maude King Box on December 24, 1941.
She is survived by three sisters, Betty Woods (Colon) of Duck Hill, Sue Thompson of Winona, and Shirley Browning (Jimmy) of Winona; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lynn “Linnie” Brown and infant sister, Dorothy Jeanette Box.
