Graveside services for Mr. Walter Brent “Walt” Vance, of Winona, will be held Wednesday, August 11 at 10 a.m. at Eskridge Cemetery in Eskridge, MS. Rev. Reidis Nash will officiate the service.
Mr. Vance, 41, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital. He was born August 28, 1979. He was a 1997 graduate of Winona Christian School and the Assistant Produce Manager at SuperValu in Winona. He was of Baptist faith, and a devout Christian always willing to share his testimony of salvation with others.
Mr. Vance is survived by his father, Charles Brent Vance; grandmother, Betty Vance Chesteen; and uncle, Brice Vance, all of Winona.

We are so sorry and hurt tremendously for your great loss. Walt was always such a joy for me to be around. He was the cutest little fellow playing with his Star Wars toys and explaining all of them to me. He truly cared for people and it really showed whenever I got to see him, usually when he was at work. He is with “Big Daddy” and Jesus now and what a comfort that is to know that he is walking in the light. Gene and I will keep you in our prayers.

Dearest Brent, Brice and Aunt Betty, The many miles that distance us has never made a difference in how much I love the entire Vance Family. I loved our summer visits when we were younger which made all of us closer year after year. Daddy could not wait each summer to load us up quickly and get home to Mississippi.
