A Graveside service for Mr. Walter Clarence Welch, Jr. of Vaiden will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, at Michie Cemetery in Vaiden. Rev. Doug Warren and Rev. Billy Little will officiate the service.
Mr. Walter Clarence Welch, Jr., 80, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was born, March 31, 1942, to Walter Curtis and Alyne King Welch. He was a retired employee of Carroll County Schools and a member of Tuckerville Baptist Church in Vaiden.
Mr. Welch is survived by his sons, Walter Scott Welch of Stuttgart, Germany and Steven Brister Welch of Winona; sisters, Alice Fay Price, Bobbie Jo King, and Marie Cummings, all of Vaiden; brother, William Douglas Welch of Vaiden; two grandchildren, Kegan Welch and Sabrina Wilson; one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

So sorry to hear about Walter. It has been many, many decades since we have talked but he was always such a sweet guy. Sending the family prayers during this time of grief. RIP Walter! Deborah

Mr. Welch will truly be missed at Tuckerville M.B Church a faithful deacon and Sunday school superintendent at church. Mr Welch take your rest we loved you but God loved best, our church has lost a true christian we love you Mr. Welch.
