A graveside service for Mrs. Alma Lee Blanton of Winona will be held Thursday, June 22, at Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael. Rev. Terry Corley will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Johnathan Dowdy, Daniel Dowdy, Danny House, and Mike Blanton.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alma Lee Blanton, 87, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Merit Health River Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was born in Kilmichael on September 13, 1935, to F. M. and Carol Lee Coley. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Blanton is survived by daughters, Kay Blanton, Cynthia Blanton, Kimberly Dowdy, and Judy Blanton, all of Winona; sons, Michael Blanton (Catherine) of Asheboro, NC, and Bobby Blanton of Little Rock, AR; brother, Larry Coley of Jackson, MS; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest Stanley Blanton; sister, Mattie Coley and brothers, Jimmy Coley, and Charles Coley.

My heartfelt deepest condolences to all of Alma’s family. While I could only recently had the pleasure of getting to know my mother-in-law, her deep love of her children and Elvis the king was genuine, and the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. Rest in peace Alma Lee.
