Alvin Wayne Wiltshire

December 4, 1954 – September 18, 2021

A graveside service for Mr. Alvin Wayne Wiltshire, of Winona, formerly of Black Hawk, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 21 at Black Hawk Cemetery in Carroll County. Mr. Bo Surrell and Mr. Clyde Anderson will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Taylor Wiltshire, Tyler Wiltshire, Kyle Wiltshire, Chris Vaughn, Jonathan Vaughn and Spencer Wiltshire.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 21 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mr. Wiltshire, 66, passed away at Greenwood Leflore Hospital on Saturday, September 18, 2021. He was born December 4, 1954 to Alvin and Mae Daves Wiltshire. He was a 1974 Graduate of Carroll Academy and a retired Inspector for the Mississippi Department of Transportation. He attended both Black Hawk Baptist Church and Winona Church of Christ.

Mr. Wiltshire is survived by his parents; wife, Sandra Wiltshire; daughter, Shellye Wiltshire; son, Brandon Wiltshire, all of Winona; and brother, Greg Wiltshire of Vaiden. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Riley James King.

  1. Wayne was a great man and will be greatly missed. We look forward to laughing with him in Heaven! Maybe he and Jesus are taking a ride in a cool car right about now!
