Funeral services for B. Preston Harris of Winona will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 12 in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following at Eskridge Cemetery in Eskridge. Rev. Terry Corley will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Colby Trotter, Keith Norris, David Crutchfield, Chris Harris, Jason Ables, and Danny Groves.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 12 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.
B. Preston Harris, 63, passed away at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. He was born in Louisiana on November 9, 1962 to Barnie Preston and Elva Rea Trussell Harris. He was a jack of all trades who loved animals, especially his dog, and was an avid squirrel hunter.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Harris of Winona; daughter, Helen Trotter (Colby); Chris Harris (Laquisha); sister, Jaine Bartlett; and grandson, Ethan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Harris.
Preston had such a kind soul. It was a pleasure to have known him. I’m so sorry for your loss. He is already missed.
Preston was a great friend. I only known him for a few years, but he was a Godly person and friend to everyone. Preston your going to be miss by everyone, until we met again Preston your friend Danny.
