A graveside service for Bernice “Bunky” Huggins Howell, of Winona, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26 at Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the service.
Mrs. Bernice “Bunky” Huggins Howell, 83, passed away at her home in Winona on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She was born in Carthage to Charlie and Annie Day Huggins on April 2, 1939. She was a retired waitress who served the community in several restaurants. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Winona.
She is survived by her three sons, Jeffery Howell of Winona, Julius Howell of Winona, and Jamie Howell of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Annie Ruth “Ann” Huggins Doster.
