Bobby Frost Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bobby Frost Johnson on November 12, 2023. Born on February 13, 1935, Bobby was the beloved son of Vera Parkenson and Herman Johnson, who preceded him in death. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a lifetime of cherished memories.

Bobby was a devoted father to his son Donald Johnson and daughter Victoria Johnson Pounds. His presence and guidance were a source of strength for his family, and his memory will forever be etched in their hearts.

Family was paramount to Bobby, and his role as a grandfather brought him immense joy. He is survived by his grandchildren Stacy Bagby-Bordelon, Lori Johnson Graff (husband Chris Graff), Sean Johnson, Sydney Johnson, and Emily Pounds each of whom he adored. In addition, Bobby leaves a lasting legacy through his great-grandchildren, Aaron Graff, Christopher Graff Jr., and Austin Graff, who brought a special light to his life.

Victoria’s family was an integral part of Bobby’s life. He welcomed Stephen Pounds into the family with open arms and embraced him as a son. Bobby cherished the bond he shared with his daughter’s family.

Bobby proudly served his country in the Army, exemplifying a commitment to duty and honor. His military service was a testament to his patriotism and dedication to protecting the freedoms we hold dear.

Bobby was preceded in death by his late wife, Charlotte Johnson, who brought love and warmth to their home. Together, they created a foundation of love and support that continues to resonate within the family.

Bobby is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Linda Dowling, who became an integral part of his extended family, bringing additional love and companionship into his life.

Dedicating a significant portion of his life to his work at the National Supply Oil Company, Bobby forged a successful career and earned the respect of colleagues. His commitment to excellence and hard work made a lasting impact on those around him, and his contributions to the industry will not be forgotten.

Viewing services for Bobby Frost Johnson will be held at Oliver Funeral Home in Winona, MS, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. Following the viewing, Bobby will be laid to rest at Vaiden Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join together to pay their respects, share memories, and celebrate the life of this remarkable individual.
