Funeral services for Bonnie Powell Key Goldman, of Winona, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26 at First Baptist Church of Winona. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, June 26 from 12:00 until time of service. Rev. Jay Anderson will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Dr. George Powell, Chris Powell, Dr. Patrick Powell, Blake Powell, Tyler Politz, and Keo Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Randle and Rev. John L. Walker.
Bonnie went to her Heavenly home on June 23, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whom Bonnie had touched in some way throughout her very memorable life, and she will live on through the memories of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Rudone Goldman of Winona; son, James Key (Jennifer) of Winona; daughter, Lesa Goldman of Winona; brothers, Sanford Powell II of Senatobia and Allan Powell of Grenada; as well as, six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sanford L. and Alice Rebecca Hood Powell; first husband, James O’Neal Key; brothers, Harry Powell and Ken Powell; and daughter, Rhodonna Goldman.
