Funeral services for Bonnie Utz Downs Reynolds, of Southaven, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Carroll County, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Bennie Watson will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Downs, Kenny Downs, Charlie Downs, Craig Hawkins, Steve Reid, and Todd Utz.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 2, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Mrs. Reynolds passed away Monday, March 30, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Desoto. She was born and raised in Bolivar County, Mississippi to John Ballard and Marie Hopper Utz on May 19, 1942. Bonnie was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Reid (Steve) of Olive Branch and Rachel Harkness (Kevin) of Madison; sisters, Sandie Stacy (Billy) of Clarksdale, Joy McMinn (Jim) of Pope, Robbie Ray (Billy) of Nesbit, Teena Meredith (Les) of Pope; three grandchildren, Blake Bell Leone (Bobby) of Darling, Cassidy Ryann Reid of Olive Branch, Delaney Rose Reid of Southaven; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, George Downs and Owen Reynolds; and two brothers, David Ray Utz and John Ballard “Bud” Utz Jr.
