
Bradford T. (Bobo) Watkins, 76, of Vaiden, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. He was born on October 22, 1944 in Lexington to Maurice Thomas and Edith Thornton Watkins and was raised in Vaiden. After graduating from Vaiden High School in 1964, he went to work in the oil field for many years before returning to Vaiden to care for his mother. Upon returning, he worked for Viking Range Corp. in Greenwood until retirement in 2008. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He also loved spending time at his property in Blackhawk.
Mr. Watkins is survived by two sons, Richard Watkins of Biloxi and Thomas M. Watkins of Raymond; two grandsons; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; four nieces; and one nephew.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Eloise Robertson; two brothers, John W. Watkins and Walter M. Watkins; and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25 at Vaiden Baptist Church, with burial following in Winona Garden of Memory. Rev. Donald Self will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, September 25 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
