Candice “Khandi” Dawn Logan Terney

Candice “Khandi” Dawn Logan Terney passed away Monday, January 22, at her home in Winona at the age of 51. She was born in Wurzburg, Germany on July 21, 1972, to Lester Franklin and Debra Jane Collins Logan. She was a member of McCarley Baptist Church. She enjoyed cruising, camping and picking with her family. She was an avid music fan and loved shopping and traveling.

Mrs. Terney is survived by her husband, Joseph “Jody” Terney, sons, David Logan, Kaleb Wilson, and Brandon Ramsey; mother, Debra Jane Logan; father, Lester Franklin Logan; sisters, Cynthia Logan Nickerson and Christina Logan Strehlow; one granddaughter, Amethyst Rose Wilson; and two nephews, Cayden Jeremiah Evans and Oliver Beck Strehlow. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Hallie Michelle Lavender.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

  2. She was one of the funniest, most selfless, and hard working women I have ever known. Worked together for around 7 years and she was always someone I could count on no matter what. She made slinging sandwiches fun…We lost touch in recent years, but I did run into her recently at Walmart and she still had warm smile and hug to give. She also messaged me about the arrival of her sweet granddaughter and was so joyful and proud. Prayers for peace and comfort to Jody, Christina, David and the rest of her family. It was a privilege knowing and sharing the same first name with Candace.
