A graveside service for Mrs. Carolyn Marr Lowery of Winona will be held at 11:00 a.m.on Saturday, March 27, at Scotland Baptist Church Cemetery near Winona. Rev. John Jacks and Rev. Paul Trosper will officiate the services
.Mrs. Lowery, 88, passed away at Indywood Estate Personal Care Home in Cleveland on Monday, March 22, 2021. She was born on August 5, 1932, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late John G. and Clara McBunch Marr; and the widow of the late James L. Lowery, to whom she was married for 64 years. Mrs. Lowery was a homemaker and a member of Scotland Baptist Church. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting, sewing, cooking, and working in her yard. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Marr.
Mrs. Lowery is survived by one daughter, Nancy Franklin (Michael) of Gunnison; three sons, Danny Lowery (Bonnie) of Winona, Barry Lowery (Deanna) of Winona, and Skipper Lowery (Yvonne) of Memphis, TN; one sister, Julia Miller of Cordova, TN; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
