Carson Lee Boone, age 13, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026. He was born in Oxford, MS on August 13, 2012.
Carson was a student at Carroll Academy and attended Hillview Baptist Church in Greenwood. He enjoyed cooking and spending time outdoors, which included hunting, fishing and participating in 4-H shooting sports. He also enjoyed working on science projects.
Carson is survived by his mother, Stephanie Boone (James Moore); father, Chris Boone (Tracy), sister, Chloe Boone; brothers, Matthew Cotton and Parker Boone; maternal grandfather, John Thorn; and paternal grandfather, Larry Boone. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jo Ellen Boone.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation being held from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Rev. Tommy Everette will officiate the services. Burial will follow in Midway cemetery in Vaiden. Pallbearers will be John Thorn, Keith Boone, Richard Boone, Ryan Austin, Mark Boone, Slade Boone, Jacob Carpenter and Mark Boone II. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Cotton and Parker Boone.
