A graveside service for Mr. Charles H. Artman of Florence will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6 at Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the service.
Charles H. Artman, 92, passed away at the Mississippi State Veteran’s Home in Jackson on Saturday, July 30, 2022. He was born in Winona to Bill and Estelle Artman on March 14, 1930. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War, serving out of at an airbase in Guam. He retired from ATT in 1989 after 35 years. He enjoyed traveling, especially camping, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Martha Ann Adair Artman of Florence; two sons, Steven Artman of Florence and Jeff Artman of Vicksburg; brother, Dan Artman of Gluckstadt; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Billie Goss.
