Charles Thomas McCorkle

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Thomas McCorkle will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Vaiden Cemetery. Rev. David Westmoreland will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Don Eddins, Ronnie Robertson, Charles A. McCorkle, Rickey McCorkle, Cole McCorkle, and James Coleman.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mr. McCorkle, 94, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at his residence in Vaiden. He was born to William Andy and Vivian Sullivan McCorkle on January 24, 1928. Mr. McCorkle was a retired pipeliner and cattleman and a World War II US Army Veteran.

Mr. McCorkle is survived by his son, Charles Andrew McCorkle of Greenville, TX; brothers, Fred McCorkle of Leland and Andrew Pete McCorkle of Vaiden; special friend, Maggie McCorkle; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby Hazel Welch McCorkle; sisters, Leneva Stewart, Margie Mullen, and Mozelle Nelms; and brother, Estes McCorkle.
