A memorial service for Charlotte Marie Wilson of West Plains, MO, formerly of Winona, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Eddie Hollowell will officiate the service. A committal service will follow in the Winona Garden of Memory.
The family will receive guests Saturday, July 8, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Charlotte Marie Wilson, 33, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023, in West Plains, MO. She was born in Grenada, MS on April 8, 1990, to Christopher Wilson and Cheryl Bell. She attended Winona Public Schools from kindergarten until graduating in the class of 2008. She attended Holmes Community College. She was in the process of obtaining a physical therapy assistant license and was working at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, MO. She was an avid reader and loved to collect books and write her favorite quotes in a journal. One of her greatest joys was being a mother to her children. She had an infectious smile and an attitude that was genuinely her own. She was a kind, caring, fiercely loyal and protective friend. She enjoyed watching old movies with her friends, expressing herself through tattoos and music, and working to take care of others.
She is survived by parents, Mark and Cheryl Bell of West Plains, MO, formerly of Winona, and Christopher and Shaunta Wilson of Grenada; children, Tiffany Taylor Marie Lawrence, and Zane Lawrence, both of West Plains, MO; brothers, CJ Wilson of Winona, and Devon Wilson (Laney) of West Plains, MO; grandmother, Alice Blakely of Winona, grandparents, Sharon and Mike Shirley of Duck Hill, and Jimmy and Alice “Cookie” Vance of Kilmichael; great-grandmother, Faye Bennett of Vaiden; and a multitude of friends, including best friends, Kayla Kelly, Molly Crocker, and Jade Vaughn. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Andrew Taylor Tharp, and grandfather, Homer Blakely.
