Connie Adkins Austin

July 19, 1958 – June 5, 2026

Mrs. Connie Adkins Austin, age 67, of Kilmichael, MS passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at the Vaiden Community Living Center in Vaiden, MS. Connie was born in Ackerman, MS to J. B. and Edna Dean Adkins. Connie was a homemaker and was gifted with an amazing talent for drawing, painting and writing poetry.

She is survived by her children, Hollie Doering (Michael), Desirae Graves (Wesley), and Matthew Austin; her grandchildren, Cole Crouch, Zach Crouch, Savannah Kersh, Brayden Sitzes, Madison Blaylock, Weston Graves, and Emerson Graves and, great grandchild, Layla Kersh: her mother, Edna Adkins of Stewart; her sisters Bonnie Patterson, Kathy McKay, Lisa Moore, and Tammie Cooper; and her brother, Tommy Adkins. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Austin; her father J. B. Adkins; and her sister Glenda Adkins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10 at 3:00 P.M. in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Randy Bridges officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Cole Crouch, Craig Britt, Brayden Sitzes, Treyton Whitten, Casey McKay, and Ryan Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Madison Blaylock, Weston Graves, Danny Patterson, Alvis McKay, Ricky Moore, Jeff Cooper, and Tommy Adkins. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery near Kilmichael.

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Cemetery, 66 Stafford Wells Loop, Winona, MS 38967.
