Graveside services for Mr. Cordell Dodd of Winona will be held Saturday, June 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Eddie Dodd will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Josh Dodd, Aden Dodd, Chris Thomas, Frank Tucker, Macky Prewitt, and Jim Buskirk.
Visitation will be Friday, June 16, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.
Cordell Dodd, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at his residence in Winona. He was born to Charlie and Myrtle Wilkerson Dodd on February 24, 1935. He was a retired truck driver and mechanic, member of the Winona Masonic Lodge #48, and a U.S. Army Veteran Specialist. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was of the Church of God faith.
Mr. Dodd is survived by daughter, Kathy Thomas (Chuck) of McCarley; son, Rodney Dodd (Tammy) of Winona; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Morehead Dodd, and ten brothers and sisters.
