Curtis Palmertree

Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Palmertree of Poplar Creek will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 23, at Hebron Baptist Church, with burial following in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery near Poplar Creek. Rev. Bobby Palmertree will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Cole Moore, Shorty Palmertree, Chris Jefcoat, Brock Dorsey, Austin Sullivan, and Danny Jefcoat. Dalton Jefcoat and Logan Jefcoat will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home and Thursday, February 23, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Hebron Baptist Church.

Mr. Curtis Palmertree, 54, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora. He was born to Thomas Lee and Emmitt Elaine Perry Palmertree on November 13, 1968. He was owner/operator of Palmertree Logging.

Mr. Palmertree is survived by his daughters, Kasey Palmertree (fiancé Brock) and Kathy “Chucky” Jefcoat (husband Chris); sisters, Cookie Vance, Diane Palmertree, and Benny Faye Bishop; brothers, Shorty Palmertree and Jimmy Palmertree; four grandchildren, Cole Moore, Dalton Jefcoat, Kali Moore, and Logan Jefcoat; and one grandchild on the way. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.
