A memorial service for Daniel Earl King, of Winona, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 27, at North Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael, MS.
Mr. King, 72, passed away at his home in Winona on Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was born in Birmingham, AL on December 5, 1948 to Max Earl and Ruby Dorothy Strahan King. He was a retired employee of Montgomery County and a US Marine veteran of Vietnam. He also served in the National Guard following the war. He was a member of Eskridge Baptist Church.
Mr. King is survived by his son, Daniel Earl King, Jr. of Winona; sister, Theresa Moore of Winona; three brothers, Johnny King of Winona, Kermit King of Winona, and Kenny King of Daphne, AL; three grandchildren, Glenn Daniel King, Sabrina Lynn Costilow, and Shelby Bennett Starnes; three great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff King; and ex-wife, Edith Tyler Monk King.
