Darlene Steed Donahoo

Funeral services for Darlene Steed Donahoo will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM. Rev. Jerry McNeer, assisted by Rev. Randy Bridges, will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the Community Baptist Church Cemetery near Kilmichael. Pallbearers will be Tony Palmertree, Charles Steed, Justin Riddell, Corey Griffin, Brad Dendy, and Jackie Vance. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Claude King, David Costilow, and Billy Ray Cummings.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 3, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mrs. Donahoo, 66, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. She was born to James Monroe and Elsie Lee Steed on February 1, 1960. She was a retired store manager. She spent her time after retiring from full time work helping at Leonard’s 3 Way in French Camp and at City Trading Post in Winona. Darlene loved people and loved to have good time.

She is survived by her step-daughter, Tammy Hubbard of Edwards, MS; her sister Jennifer Riddell (Rusty) of French Camp; two brothers, Benny Steed (Jackie) of French Camp and Kenny Steed of Winona; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Donahoo; her daughter, Miracle Faith Donahoo; and her niece Alisha Lynn Steed.

  4. Darlene was my best friend in school. We had some really good times together, I always enjoyed spending the night with Darlene or having a sleep over at my house. We grew apart and life happens. But I was able to connect with her for a little while. Darlene helped me when I found out that I had cancer, she was able to answer a lot of my questions that I had, she always seemed to know when I needed a pick me up, she would send me a little something on Facebook or thru messenger, Darlene I will miss, God Bless to her Family and all those that loved her!!!!!

  5. I was privileged to know Darlene when she was the office manager at Piggly Wiggly in Winona. She was so excited when she was finally able to be a mom. Great memories of that
