Funeral services for David Leon Nix, of Winona, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Scotland Baptist Church in Winona, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. John Jacks will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Doyle Nix, Dylan Nix, Jonathan Nix, Brandon Nix, Matthew Varnes, and David Oswalt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 3, from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the church.
David Leon Nix, 51, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023. He was born to Jimmy and Debbie McKinnon Nix on June 19, 1972. He was a member of Scotland Baptist Church and worked as an auto body technician.
Mr. Nix is survived by his daughter, Olivia Nix of Winona; son, Dylan Nix of Winona; mother, Debbie Nix of Winona; and brother, Doyle Nix of Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Nix.
