
Funeral services for Mrs. Debbie Anne Dees Lackey of Brandon, formerly of Winona, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12 in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Bethany cemetery. Dr. Duran Palmertree and Mr. Bill Mills will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Chad Dodd, Wesley Greene, Kenny Britton, Brad Green, Jayson Mills, and Jason Ables, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Threet and Joe Allen Dees.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 11 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lackey, 58, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born February 4, 1964 to William Aaron and Ann Gooden Dees. She was a 1982 graduate of Winona High School and a member of Bethany Church of God. She was a hardworking and independent homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles and loved singing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Lackey is survived by her mother, Ann Dees of Winona, daughters, Jessica Crump (Roderick) of Pearl, Jordan Danielle Lackey (Devin) of Brandon, and Brooklyn Elizabeth Lackey (Gabriel) of Kosciusko; sister, Annice Dodd (Eddie) of Winona; brothers, Aaron Dees, Jr. (Paula) of Winona and Robert Dees of Winona; five grandchildren, Malichi Crump, Gabriel Crump, Emmerly Jewel Crump, Draedyn Mcrainey, Axleigh Mcrainey, and one on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry Lamar Lackey; her father, William Aaron Dees, Sr.; and her brother, William Aaric “Bubba” Dees.
