Funeral services for Mrs. Dessie Mae Green Jefcoat of Winona will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Danny Rosamond officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. Pallbearers will be Kent Britton, Steven Britton, Channin Green, Dakota Gant, Austin Purvis, and Bradley Green.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023, from noon until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dessie Mae Green Jefcoat, age 87, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada. She was born to David Alvin and Mary Elizabeth Gooden Green on August 8, 1936. She was a member of Scotland Baptist Church and a retired factory worker.
Mrs. Jefcoat is survived by her sister, Clyde Lee Thomas (James) of Grenada and sister-in-love, Robbie Green of Kilmichael. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Fred Jefcoat and siblings, Edmond Green, Willis Green, Wilburn Green, Jack Green, Coleman Green, Erma Dean Green, Mattie Tucker, James Green, and David Green.
