Mrs. Dorothy Ann Mullen Shute, 94, of North Carrollton passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Greenwood. She was born in McCarley, MS on February 19, 1927 to Harry Paul and Ina L. Mullen. Mrs. Shute was a homemaker and a member of North Carrollton Methodist Church in Carrollton, MS.
Mrs. Shute was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommie C. Shute; one son, Thomas Shute; and one daughter, Melinda Beth Shute.
Mrs. Shute was survived by one daughter, Ina M. Iverson; one son, Larry P. Shute; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, MS. Rev. Ed Saunders and Rev. Gary Roberson will officiate the service.
