Frances Adams Jones

May 23, 1934 – March 27, 2021

A graveside service for Frances Adams Jones of Winona will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30, at Hayes Creek Cemetery near Winona. Rev. Barry Worrell will officiate the service.

Mrs. Jones, 86, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27. 2021, at Vaiden Community Living Center in Vaiden. She was born in Montgomery County on May 23, 1934, to William Clifford and Eva Hawkins Adams. She was retired from Pennaco Hosiery Company in Grenada and was a member of North Winona Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Carl “Jack” Jones; and three brothers, Darnell Adams, Bernice Adams, and David Adams.

She is survived by two sons, Mike Jones (Kathy) of Riverview, FL and Larry Jones (Debi) of Melbourne, FL; sister, Kaye Adams Watson of Sallis; brother, Kenny Adams (Becky) of Grenada; five grandchildren, Krystal Jones of Orlando, FL, Bryan Jones (Lianne) of Neptune, NJ, Tyler Jones (Kelsey) of Pompano Beach, FL, Staci Fisher of Kailua, Hawaii, and Brad Dixon of Riverview, FL; six great-grandchildren, Kayden Thomas Fox, Luca Joseph Jones, Waverly Rae Jones, Emilia Jones, Lucas Fisher, and Riley Fisher; and a host of nieces and nephews.
