Frances Gertrude Canada Campbell passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at the age of 94.
She was born August 2, 1926 in Newport News, Virginia to Hassie and William Canada. She married James Campbell in 1947 and they settled in North Carrollton, Mississippi. She was an active member of the North Carrollton Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers William Canada Jr, and Harry Canada, sister Margaret Canada Burton and son in law Jimmy Williams.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Barbara Campbell Williams of Greenwood; brother Franklin Canada of Tennessee; grandsons Wayne Williams (Kim) of Raymond, MS and Steve Williams (Beth) of Greenwood, MS; and great grandchildren Mackenzie Williams, Campbell Williams and Sam Williams, all of Greenwood.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 30th at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery in Winona, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Carrollton Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
