A graveside service for Mrs. Hazel “Jean” Meeks of Winona will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 at Winona Garden of Memory. Rev. Jay Anderson will officiate the service.
Mrs. Meeks, 85, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at her residence in Winona. She was born March 21, 1937 to Arthur Sims and Myrtle Sims Crab. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Winona and a homemaker.
Mrs. Meeks is survived by her sons, Brad Meeks of Winona and Doug Meeks of Hammond, LA; and three grandchildren, Joshua Meeks (Selma) of Wichita Falls, TX, Brandon Meeks of New Orleans, LA, and Colby Meeks of Winona. Mrs. Meeks was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Meeks.

Was so sorry to hear about Jean. She was such a sweet person and will be remembered for that sweet smile and loving way she always had time to stop and visit anytime I ran into her. Prayers for all of you as you go down this difficult road.
