
Homie Parker Holly, 77, formerly of Vaiden, passed away at her residence in Gluckstadt on Friday, June 19, 2026.
She was born in Winona to Charles Hemphill and Mary Pauline Grantham Parker on July 4, 1948. She was a retired clerk of the post office in Vaiden, and a member of Vaiden Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed making and decorating cups and tumblers, and she loved cooking and baking.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeff Holly (Angie) of Madison and Randy Holly (Julianne) of Madison; five grandchildren, Alyssa, Grey, Scarlett, Steele, and Stone; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Grey Holly, and two brothers, Samuel David Parker and Charles Harris Parker.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, at the Winona Garden of Memory. Rev. Leon Holly and Rev. Dustin Long will officiate the service.

Such a wonderful person. She allowed us the honor of helping with her ancestor’s gravestone rededication several years ago, it was quite a special day. I pray God sends His Holy Spirit to comfort her family.
