Funeral services for Mr. Huntley “Bubba” Rose Jr., of Duck Hill, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Duck Hill Cemetery. Rev. Terry Corley will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Michael Jackson, Steve Ware, Matt Miletello, Ronnie Respess, Chuck Rose, and Kris Blakely.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Mr. Huntley “Bubba” Rose Jr., 73, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Grenada Health and Rehab. He was born November 18, 1951. Bubba enjoyed singing along with Elvis, watching Ole Miss and Mississippi State sports and driving his red Chevrolet truck.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Rose Respess (Ronnie) of Grenada; brother, Bobby Eugene Rose of Duck Hill; nieces Teresa Roberts Jackson (Michael) and Donna Kaye Ware (Steve); and the children and grandchildren of nieces Teresa and Donna. He was preceded in death by his father, Huntley Rose; mother, Hattie Ree Blakely Rose Biggers; sister, Betty Jo Rose; brothers, Charles Wayne Rose and George Lamar Rose; and nephew, Jason Lamar Rose.
