
Funeral services for Mr. James Quinton Harrison, of Kilmichael, will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in North Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael. Rev. Randy Bridges and Rev. Dale Sorgen will officiate the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Case Parker, Ely Parker, Wyatt Parker, Johnny Pearson, Craig Parker, and Winston Yeatman.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 3, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Monday, May 4, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
James Quinton Harrison, 76, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026. He was born in Winona to Ernest Quinton Harrison, Jr. and Anna Maxine Scott Harrison on July 22, 1949. He was a member of Kilmichael Methodist Church and a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran, having served a total of three years in Vietnam and Germany.
Mr. Harrison is survived by his daughter, Renee Parker (Craig) of Duck Hill; sons, Mitchell Harrison (Amanda) of Raymond and J J Harrison of Vicksburg; sisters, Linda Hovas, Glenda Hovas, Barbara Tompkins, and Becky McCormick; brother, Wayne Harrison; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a very special friend, Gail Weeks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Houston Kyle Parker.
