  1. With sadness, this is to offer condolences to James’ sister, nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
James was a good friend and confidante to my father. In facing planting decisions such as how many acres to devote to which crops year after year, my impression is that James Nelms was the number one man my dad turned to for fresh trustworthy advice.
Upon my father’s death in late 2008, my family continued to value James’ advice for “best practices” in farming for lots of years until he completely retired from this role with us.
Warm thoughts with prayer are offered for James’ family members and all who have been touched by his life and trusted farming advice. May you be comforted by the peace that passes understanding at this sad yet hopeful time, in Christ.
