Janice B. Kelley, 73, of the Midway Community near Vaiden passed away at Vaiden Community Living Center on Thursday, February 18, 2021. She was born in Winona on July 12, 1947, to John William and Sarah Mae Noah Boone. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Independent Methodist Church at Carmack. She enjoyed reading her Bible, Diet Coke, and fishing with a cane pole. Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ora Bernice Boone Cauthen, Sarah Cochran, and Elizabeth Boone; and a brother, James W. Boone.
Mrs. Kelley is survived by her daughter,Kristi Halderman of Kosciusko; her son, Gregory F. Kelley (Tammy) of Carmack; one sister, Margaret Jefferies of Bakers, Florida; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mrs. Kelley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Sells will officiate the service.
