A funeral service for Jaxon Maxwell “Max” James, infant son of Jeremy Matthew and Holly Brianna Thompson James, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, at Praise Apostolic Tabernacle in Winona. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Winona. Rev. Tim Taylor will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be Jonas Horn, Jeffrey James, Jack Thompson, and Chad James.
Max passed away on Sunday, February 21, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada. He is survived by his parents, Matt and Holly James of Winona; two brothers, Jeremy Matthew James Jr. and Maverick Remington James, both of Winona; his maternal grandparents, Jonas and Sherryl Horn; his paternal grandparents, Jeffrey and Betty James; and his paternal great-grandmother, Margarita Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Grady Franklin Vaughn.
