A memorial service for Mrs. Jena Jessica Hoover Barry, of Winona, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Philip McRae will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 17, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Mrs. Barry, 51, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026, at her home in Winona. She was born on June 27, 1975. She was a graduate of Delta State University and received her master’s degree at the University of Memphis. She received her law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law and began her career as a practicing attorney. She was a member of Shongalo Presbyterian Church in Vaiden.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Barry; mother, Mary Glenda Wilkins Hoover; and many loving cousins and other family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Douglas Hoover; an infant brother and sister; grandparents, D.D. and Dot G. Wilkens and Rueben and Maudell Hoover; and uncle, Lamar Hoover.
