Jesse Wayne Kilgore

Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Wayne Kilgore, of Stewart, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Martin Jacks will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Tyler Kilgore, Charlie Kilgore, Thomas Tyson, Gregg Kilgore, Chris McIntyre, Jason Burney, Jeremy Kilgore, and Ankie Vaughn.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 23, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mr. Jesse Wayne Kilgore, 74, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center in Kosciusko. He was born in Stewart, MS to Jesse McCain and Emma Jean Murphy Kilgore on December 29, 1948. He was a member of Tri-County Baptist Church in Stewart and a truck driver for over forty years. He had a knack for welding, could build anything, and was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Mr. Kilgore is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Jean Fondren Kilgore of Stewart; sons, Jason Kilgore (LeeAnne) of Chattanooga, TN, and Justin Kilgore (Calah) of Stewart; sisters, Myra Wetzel, Patsy Kilgore, Janiece Kilgore, and Vickie Collins; brothers, Clyde Kilgore (Elise), Stevie Kilgore (Jennifer), Benny Kilgore (Jane), and Ricky Kilgore (Janice); six grandchildren, Jakob, Gabriel, Cash, Jessie Grace, Joshua, and Matthew; and one great-grandchild, Braxton. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Kilgore.
